Caroline Quan

Caroline Quan is a Senior at Emory studying English & Creative writing. She enjoys writing absurdist and surrealist poems, exploring the logic that binds a world. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, cooking for her friends, and spending too much time on phone games. Ask her about how she got a high score on Subway Surfer of 8,859,000, making her the week 52 2022 national champion.

Macy Perrine

Macy is a senior majoring in English and Creative Writing. She is from central Wisconsin, where she grew up with seven siblings. She is currently working on her honors thesis, a poetry collection examining violation of the female body within casual dating spaces.

Isabel Cuellar

Isabel Cuellar is a junior double majoring in Marketing and Creative Writing and serves as Alloy’s Treasurer. Isabel enjoys baking for her friends, boxing on weekends, hiking, and crocheting. She collects pretty notebooks and journals, usually without meaning to.

Zuha Jaffar

Zuha is a junior majoring in creative writing on the pre med track. In addition to reading and writing, she enjoys going on walks and bothering her cat, Gatsby.

Clara Mendoza

Clara is a junior majoring in creative writing and minoring in film. She serves as the multimedia chair. She loves reading audiobooks (which counts as real reading), watching YouTube, and telling anyone who will listen about her favorite dinosaurs.

Greyson Morey

Greyson Morey is a freshman co-majoring in English and Integrated Visual Arts and serves as a Junior Art Editor this year. He loves coffee (he aspires to like black coffee), enjoys painting (especially in gouache), playing Mario Kart tournaments with friends (which he loses most of the time), and he swears by Spotify’s discovery weekly.

Leo Raykher

Hi Alloy constituents, my name is Leo Raykher and I am a sophomore studying History and Economics. I love to read and play guitar, and am very excited to be one of the Publicity Chairs for Alloy this year! Fun fact: I have been known to eat the stickers on apples.

Sara Hsu

Sara Hsu is a freshman majoring in English & Creative Writing. She enjoys going cafe-hopping, stationery shopping, and making mixed media art. Sara serves as the Junior Art and Photography Editor for Alloy this year.

Averett Hickey

Averett Hickey is a poet and photographer from Washington, D.C. In his free time, he enjoys practicing handstyles and getting pummeled in mosh pits.

Eleanor Byers

Eleanor Byers is a junior double majoring in English and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and is originally from Toledo, Ohio. In their free time, Eleanor likes to read poetry, novels, and theory; watch movies; and collage.  Eleanor is interested in English education and sex education + research post-graduation. Eleanor is one of Alloy’s Junior Writing Editors.

Jason Kraft

Jason Kraft is a junior majoring in English and Film. He serves as a Junior Arts and Photography Editor on Alloy. After college, he hopes to pursue a career in the film industry.
